New Trier, a township in Cook County last reassessed in 2016, is located on the northern border of Chicago. Starting in 2019, Kane & Co will be publishing assessment facts by township. This is the third Township reassessment under Assessor Kaegi.
New Trier township is comprised of 18,005parcels, with a preliminary 2019 Assessed value of $2.07 billion (18% higher than 2016). 98% is Class 2 residential, whereas 1.6% is Class 5 commercial and industrial. Commercial and Industrial values were increased by 96% as compared to the 12% increase for residential.
