This is the second of Township reassessment under Assessor Kaegi. Evanston township is comprised of 11,869 parcels, with a preliminary 2019 Assessed value of $1.55 billion (53% higher than 2016). 93% is Class 2 residential, whereas 4% is Class 5 commercial and industrial. Commercial and Industrial values were increased by 125% as compared to the 25% increase for residential.
